We start the paddling with\u0026nbsp;a session on flat water; this gives us the chance to look at your ability and paddling skills. Confidence building is the key to successful paddlers; you will be coached through various skills from the very basics - getting in and out of your boat, turning, paddling in a straight line - up to learning how to ferry glide, breaking in and our of currents and rolling your kayak. There\u0027s also a very handy weir on site if you choose to try\u0026nbsp;surfing a wave, it won\u0027t be long before you can do it clean, with or without your paddle.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOn Sunday, we begin to build on the skills and confidence developed on Saturday. Often including the option of a slightly longer river trip for anyone who wants to go. If there\u0027s something you want to learn or practice specifically just speak to one of our friendly coaches and we\u0027ll do our best to include it.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfter a fun-packed weekend, we break camp by around 15:00 and each head home to a nice warm shower and a well earned rest.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eWHATS INCLUDED?\u003c/strong\u003e\u003c/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe really like to cover as much as possible for you on our events so here’s a rundown of whats included.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFood for the weekend includes cooked breakfasts\u003cem\u003e, \u003c/em\u003ebuffet lunches, cooked evening meals with pudding if you choose. There\u0027s also a very handy weir on site if you choose to try\u0026nbsp;surfing a wave, it won\u0027t be long before you can do it clean, with or without your paddle.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOn Sunday, we begin to build on the skills and confidence developed on Saturday. Often including the option of a slightly longer river trip for anyone who wants to go. Confidence building is the key to successful paddlers; you will be coached through various skills from the very basics - getting in and out of your boat, turning, paddling in a straight line - up to learning how to ferry glide, breaking in and our of currents and rolling your kayak.
